The Mystery of Potholes Explained
As a driver, you have experienced the frustration of potholes in the roadways, and when they are
not fixed, they can cause damage to your vehicle. Potholes develop because water seeps into a
crack in the asphalt, and when the temperature changes, the water freezes and expands resulting
in the breakdown of asphalt. If you are worried that you have pothole damage, check for the
common signs including dents in the rims, undercarriage damage, uneven tire wire, or the
vehicle veering to one side. Before driving again, take time to research potholes including how
they are formed and how-to avoid them.
