Lodge Cast Iron is the nation’s oldest continuously operating cast iron cookware manufacturer, founded in 1896 and still family-owned and headquartered in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. The company’s flagship Factory Store sits next to its cast iron foundries and opened in 1994, originally selling only factory seconds, cookware with minor cosmetic blemishes that don’t meet Lodge’s full standards.
