Project Overview
Wright Construction partnered with Hoar Construction to complete exterior improvements for Orlando Health’s newly acquired Baptist Health facilities in Birmingham, AL. The upgrades spanned the Princeton Baptist, Walker Baptist, and Shelby Baptist campuses and were designed to enhance curb appeal and functionality across multiple parking lots.

670 tons of mill paving with restriping at Walker Baptist

Additional mill paving, sealcoating, and restriping at Princeton and Shelby Baptist

Nighttime paving operations at Shelby Baptist to minimize disruption

Demolition of a dilapidated building on one of the properties

A major challenge was completing the work during winter months, requiring careful planning to manage weather windows, asphalt plant production, trucking logistics, ambulance access, and hospital traffic flow. Despite these obstacles, Wright Construction delivered high-quality results ahead of schedule at Walker Baptist and successfully executed simultaneous paving at Princeton and Shelby Baptist under difficult conditions.
